Michael Monaghan was born on the 12TH May 1978 In Perth Western Australia, To the proud parents of Tanya and Joe...they already had 3 girls and desperately wanted a son....along came Michael and they were over the moon...His father Joe cart wheeled down the street with joy...Michael had four sisters...Karen Lisa Tanya and Carlyanne and one younger brother Steven....
All of us were close but Michael and Steven esp so....they were always up to mischief with one another...getting into scrapes...just everyday normal things that young boys did....Our family was complete...that was untill the 21st September 1993 when our world was turned upside down...Michael passed away...and in all honestly we all fell apart...It was so sudden and so unexpected and that just made this heartbreak even harder to bear....It's been nearly 14 years since we had to say goodbye to Michael and yet it still feels like only yesterday the unthinkable happened esp so for my parents...they try hard to be brave for all us siblings but we know they are truely and utterly devastated...
We love to talk about him...remember the things he used to say and do..he was such a happy boy and he would always make you laugh...The photo I have uploaded was taken two weeks before he left us...On holiday in Tenerife...He/We had a great time...a real family holiday..I can still picture him one night on the dance floor...and everybody making a circle round him to watch him dance..he really did move that night lol he was great...
The night we lost you will be etched on all our minds for the rest of our lives....We can all still remember every detail........from the minute we found you to the moment mum called from the hospital to say you had gone.Having to say goodbye was the hardest thing we have ever had to do...
Michael this part is for you.............Everyday we think of you....Every day we love you more and Everyday we wish we could have you back....We all have our own children now...Karen has 3....Liam(who adored you) is now 16 Ethan Michael is 7 and her latest addition is Ashton...Lisa has two...Shani 4 and Michael 3....I myself have 2 Calum-Michael 13 and my new baby Michael aka Mikey...Steven has one Abby Mae and little Carlyanne is expecting her first in January...We all wish that you could be here to meet them all..they would all have loved their Uncle Michael...we tell them about you so they know who you are..xxx
